I LOVE YOU ALL!

Homeless people are fighting to keep New York City vibrant and free.

From our beginning in 1999, defending civil rights and access to public space has been a central part of the mission of Picture the Homeless. Our members have taken their struggle to City Hall, to the media, to court, and definitely to the streets.

They are fighting for all New Yorkers. We all appreciate and love the vitality of our streets, parks, and other public spaces. But the things we love about New York City is being destroyed by creeping gentrification and Disneyfication. Every expansion of police power creates a chilling effect that touches everyone.
